I completed in Duisburg, Germany, my 24th and fastest truly barefoot marathon.
I achieved my fastest barefoot marathon and placed second in my age group. I felt so good that just 7 days later I easily ran barefoot the 90 km of the Comrades Marathon in South Africa: no shoes, no problems!
