I did in Montenegro my 101th truly barefoot marathon and 310th marathon.

Well, I’m not yet so old, and I’m not originally from the country of Abebe Bikila, who by the way is not the first barefoot marathoner. My next race will be on the footsteps of the first authentic marathoner. And guess what: The hemerodrome from the cradle of Western civilization was a professional barefoot runner.
As I thoroughly explain in my book Running Barefoot for Human Survival, running keeps us fit and healthy, and very young for our age, while running barefoot prevents pain, injury and fatigue so much so that doing a marathon turns into a walk in the park.
