The Septuagenarian Barefoot Runner
On the day I turned 70, I did a private barefoot marathon in Playa del Inglés, Gran Canaria—a lovely Spanish Island off the African Coast. I ran the first half on the Meloneras Promenade before walking the second half on the 6 km beach.
