I did my 526th marathon barefoot, primarily along the 6 km beach in southern Gran Canaria, stretching from the Maspalomas Lighthouse to the northern edge of the Playa del Inglés District. It’s one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Maspalomas Dunes.
Spanning over 400 hectares, the Maspalomas Dunes are not only a natural wonder but also a vast desert landscape where hiking or camel rides offer a sense of adventure and a glimpse into traditional Saharan travel.
