I have already run 215 marathons and a 90 km ultramarathon barefoot in 59 countries across 6 continents: Africa, North America, South America, Asia, Europe and Oceania. Since Homo sapiens is a tropical species, our bodies are not designed for walking or running barefoot in Antarctica. I participated in an ultramarathon in Antarctica on February 19, 2015, with other runners, including one who thought he could run barefoot, but quickly realized he was wrong.
