I did barefoot my 574th marathon on the fully restored Playa del Inglés beach as part of four private marathons in four days. The Playa del Inglés beach was practically washed away by the powerful waves during the first days of Storm Therese in March 2026. It has since regained its pre-storm appearance, as shown in the photos in this article.
