I did my 479th marathon and 53rd Maspalomas Dunes Marathon on the mountains of Southern Gran Canaria, Spain.
I took a public bus with my wife and our son Alexandre in Playa del Inglés and headed to Tunte—the capital of the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, and walked on the mountains of Southern Gran Canaria, including on the lovely Trail (Sendero) S-57, back to Playa del Inglés.
