This is my second Madrid Marathon. My wife Gisele did the 10 km race. We were at boarding gate of our flight to Gran Canaria the next day, Monday 28, when the country and neighboring Portugal suffered their worst power outage. The flight could fortunately take off after a relatively short delay.
